As a Restaurant Captain at The Trishala Vilãs, you will oversee the service staff and ensure that guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and serve as a key point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements. Ensure that guests are seated promptly and comfortably. Take orders, answer questions about the menu and make recommendations. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously. Check on guests regularly to ensure they are enjoying their meals and provide exceptional service. Staff Management: Supervise and support the waitstaff to ensure efficient and high-quality service. Train new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist in the scheduling and management of the service staff. Operational Duties: Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas. Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the manager for supply orders. Assist with the management of daily cash and credit transactions.
