Job Title: Head Chef (All-Rounder) Location: CULB RESORTO, KOTAGIRI Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef (All-Rounder) to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing a wide variety of dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities: 1. Menu Planning and Execution: - Develop and implement menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. - Ensure menu items are fresh, seasonal, and meet quality standards. 2. Kitchen Management: - Supervise and train kitchen staff. - Maintain high kitchen standards, hygiene, and safety. - Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control. 3. Cooking and Preparation: - Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including: - South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other international cuisines. - Vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and specialty dishes. - Ensure presentation, flavor, and quality of dishes. 4. Team Leadership: - Lead, motivate, and develop kitchen staff. - Conduct training sessions and workshops. - Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment. 5. Quality Control: - Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency. - Implement quality control measures. 6. Cost Control: - Manage food costs, labor costs, and kitchen expenses. - Implement cost-saving initiatives. Requirements: 1. Head Chef or Sous Chef with 5+ years of experience. 2. Culinary degree or equivalent. 3. Expertise in multiple cuisines (South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Continental, etc.). 4. Strong leadership and team management skills. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 7. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
